Bell - McCubbin

Rachel Ann Bell, daughter of Mark and Jill Bell of Corvallis, and J. Michael McCubbin, son of Jeff McCubbin of Corvallis and Toni Sherwood of Park City, Utah, are engaged to be married June 24 in Evergreen, Colo. Rachel is in her final semester at Colorado State University, where she is majoring in human development/family studies and early childhood development.

Michael attended Colorado State University where he received a degree in speech communication. He is a marketing coordinator for Big Brother-Big Sister in Denver.

Cheeke - Icoz

Tanya Cheeke, daughter of Peter and Edna Cheeke of Corvallis, and Evrim Icoz, son of Erhan Icoz of Izmir, Turkey, and Tulay Alpcer of Istanbul, Turkey, will be married Sept. 5 in Portland. Tanya received a bachelor of science degree from The Evergreen State College. Her degree was in environmental science/sustainable agriculture. She is a lab technician at Soil Foodweb Inc. Evrim has a master's degree in computer engineering from Duke University. He works for Intel and also operates Evrim Icoz Photography.

Webster - Birakos

Allison Webster, daughter of Rob and Merla Webster of Albany, and Dimos Birakos, son of Vasiliki Kotsonis of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., are engaged to be married July 2005 in Oregon.

Allison is a 1997 graduate of South Albany High School and a 2001 graduate of the University of Redlands. She received a bachelor of science degree in business and is now working on her master's in teaching. She is a middle school teacher. Dimos graduated in 1996 from New Smyrna Beach High School. He graduated from the University of Redlands and Concordia University in Portland. He received a bachelor of science degree in liberal studies in 2001 and a masters in teaching in 2002. He is a high school teacher.

Allison and Dimos live in Salinas, Calif.
