Build Lebanon Trails
to hold groundbreaking
Build Lebanon Trails, a community coalition devoted to creating 45 miles of accessible trails in and around the town of Lebanon, will be holding a groundbreaking ceremony on Saturday, March 17, to celebrate funding of its first trail.
The ceremony will begin at noon at the site of the proposed Marks Slough trail site in Lebanon. To get to the location, turn off Oregon Highway 34 onto East Wheeler Street, continue until it becomes Tennessee Road Southeast, turn left onto Beaton Lane, and then look for the BLT (Build Lebanon Trail) signs.
The event will include a variety of local dignitaries and volunteers who have helped with the trail project.
