Robert Gene Woolard Sr.

March 25, 1929 — Jan. 12, 2008

Robert G. Woolard, 78, of Lebanon died Saturday at a Scio area care home.

Robert was born in Mountain Grove, Mo., the son of John and Nancy (Wade) Woolard. He lived in Missouri throughout his childhood, where he attended school. He had lived in the Lebanon area for many years. He worked for Economy Supply in Lebanon for more than 30 years.

Robert enjoyed gardening.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Billie, in 1998; several brothers; and one sister.

He is survived by wife Frances of Lebanon; son Robert Woolard Jr. of Albany; stepson James Long of Hillsboro; stepdaughter Sue Evans of Azalea; brother Jason Woolard of Salem; sisters Mary Powell of Greensboro, N.C., and Lois Lowen of Yuma, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.

No services are being planned. Private interment was in the Lebanon IOOF Cemetery.
