Inez G. Williams

June 2, 1923 — June 26, 2008

Inez G. Williams, 85, of Sweet Home passed away Thursday at Avamere Rehabilitation of Lebanon.

She was born in Peel, Ark., to John F. and Stella (Motley) Treadway.

She had lived in Sweet Home for 57 years working in Real Estate and at Wards Catalog Store.

Inez loved to visit with her grandchildren and loved to play with her great-grandchildren. She always took an active interest in her family by fixing food, babysitting and just visiting with everyone. She loved all her dogs through the years, live stock and being outdoors. She loved working in her flower beds and her vegetable garden.

She is survived by daughter Pamela L. Garber and husband Michael L. Garber; son John A. McCormick; grandchildren Tina Melbye and husband Dave, Misty McCormick, Matthew W. Garber and wife Jody, Jacquelyne Glazzard, Jessica McCormick, Gary Wright, Alyssa McCormick; sister-in-laws Bernice Treadway and Vey Treadway; 12 great-grandchildren, Austin, Luke and Makenna Melbye, Kennedy Robinson, Koby, Brayden, Dayne, Syndelle and Taivyn Garber, and Nathan, Nicholas and Jackson Glazzard.

Inez was preceded in death by both her ex-husbands, Lucius A. McCormick and Ross C. Williams; great-granddaughter Shaina Tyler-Nicole Garber; five brothers, Everett, E.J., John, Ray and W.J.; and two sisters, Beulah and Madge.

A funeral service will be at 11a.m. Monday at Sweet Home Funeral Chapel.
