July 3 — The Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College offers “Building an Online Presence for Artists” at the Benton Center in Corvallis on Thursday afternoons, 3:30 to 5 p.m., for seven weeks, ending Aug. 14. Artist and business woman Pam Van Londen will present many low-cost or free options available to artists, and provide at-home exercises to help create a Web site, gallery and shopping cart ready for patrons around the world. July 8 — The Small Business Development Center at Linn-Benton Community College offers “Introduction to QuickBooks.” This 10-hour course is designed to introduce QuickBooks Pro 2008. Classes are Tuesdays, July 8 to Aug. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. Topics include chart of accounts, financial management glossary, customizing and using reports, recording sales and paying bills.
