Eva E. Parks

July 29, 1919 — June 27, 2008

Eva E. Parks, 88, formerly of Lebanon, died Friday at Timberview Care Center in Albany.

Eva was born July 29, 1919, in Seattle, Wash., the daughter of William and Lula (Crumley) Davidson. She married Homer Parks, the love of her life, in 1945. Eva graduated from Monmouth College and the University of Oregon and taught school for many years in the Willamette Valley.

She is survived by three daughters, Darley Dewey, Linda Hankins and Debby Shearer; brother William Davidson; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Parks, in 1992 and daughter Carin Ann Parks.

A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, near Pleasant Hill. Huston-Jost Funeral Home is handling arrangements (www.hustonjost.com).
