Lillian Rose Miller, 90, of Lebanon went to be with her Lord on Sunday at the Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg.
Lillian was born in Portland, the daughter of Herbert and Minnie (Fletcher) Kliewer. She moved to Sweet Home in 1941 where her four children were born and raised. She moved to Lebanon in 2005.
She was an active member of the Highway 20 Church of Christ in Sweet Home. She was always willing to share her faith with other people. She enjoyed going to garage sales and shopping for antiques. Lillian was always learning new things and continuing her education.
Lillian was married to Wesley Strubhar on Jan. 3, 1937. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1991. She married Vernon Miller in Dallas, Texas, on Nov. 13, 1992. She was also preceded in death by her firstborn son, Herbert Strubhar, and two brothers, Glen and Verl.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon Miller of Roseburg; sons Gary Strubhar of Roseburg and Ronald Strubhar of Portland; daughter Bonnie Morehead of Sweet Home; three stepchildren, Richard Miller of Roseburg, Charles Miller of Houston, Texas, and Nancy Kay Miller of Alberta, Canada; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Huston-Jost Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Southside Church of Christ in Lebanon. A private family burial will be in the Lebanon I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
