Mark A. Pruett

Aug. 26, 1955 — Aug 27, 2008

Mark A. Pruett, 53, of Lebanon died Wednesday of pancreatic cancer at his mother’s house surrounded by family.

Mark was born and lived many years in Lebanon, where he worked as a brick mason. He also resided in California for several years before returning to the Lebanon area.

Music was Mark’s passion. He loved to play blues harmonica. He also enjoyed collecting antiques, fishing and the outdoors. He was very artistic and loved to draw.

Mark is survived by his daughters, Jeannie Pruett and Jaime Connors, both of Vancouver, Wash., and Janine Welker of Columbia, Mo.; sisters Pam Vonsild of Sweet Home, Deanna Mueller of Corvallis, Debbie Hess of Lebanon and Laurie Morefild of Salem; nine grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by nephew Aaron Stutzman; father Wesley Pruett; and step-fathers Victor Dixon and John Girard.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at the First Assembly of God in Lebanon.
