Firm adds two:
Keller Williams Mid-Willamette Market Center of Corvallis has announced that real estate professionals John Faulconer and Earl Jorgnesen have joined the company. Faulconer has 28 years of experience in construction, remodeling and real estate investment and served two years as a commissioner on the Housing and Community Development Commission in Corvallis. He currently serves on the city of Corvallis Construction Board of Appeals. Jorgensen has extensive background in floorcovering and is a graduate of the Oregon Realtor Institute. Distinguished staff award: Linn-Benton Community College awarded Mike Holland with the Distinguished Staff award at fall in service held Sept. 16. Holland started at LBCC in 1995 as executive assistant to the president. He retired in June of this year from his position as vice president for Administrative and Student Affairs. Holland was nominated by his peers for his commitment to LBCC, to the staff and to students. LBCC’s Distinguished Staff Award was established in 1980 to recognize employees for their contribution of both time and energy to the college. Nominees must have completed 10 years of continuous employment with LBCC.

New team member: Linn Decker has joined the real estate sales team at Windermere/Willamette Valley, Albany. Decker has been helping buyers and sellers with their real estate needs for over four years. Prior to real estate he worked as a journeyman electrician at many of the military bases in the Hampton Roads area and lived in the Linn County area for over 30 years. He enjoys helping buyers get into that first home or seniors downsize to something more reasonable for their lifestyle as well as helping investors facilitate income properties. Silver Designer: Jennifer Smothers of Lebanon, a designer with Home & Garden Party, was recently promoted to Silver Designer with the company. To reach this goal, Smothers sponsored two team members and had monthly sales of $300 or more. Founded in 1996 by Penny and Steve Carlile, Home & Garden Party specializes in tabletop stoneware, candles, framed art and home décor. Atteberry Award: Linn-Benton Community College named Bill Hubel, executive vice president and CEO of Citizens Bank, as this year’s Atteberry Award winner. The Atteberry Award is given each year to honor an LBCC Professional Technical Advisory Committee member for his or her outstanding contribution to LBCC. Hubel, a Corvallis resident, has served on the Business Technology Advisory Committee for over eight years. He has served as chair and co-chair during that time. The award was established in 1992 in honor of Dr. Pat Atteberry who served as a member of the vocational education committee from 1977 to 1992.
