Zed Merrill will speak on sports heroes of Albany’s past at noon Friday at the Albany Public Library main library, 1390 Waverly Drive S.E.

An author and documentary film producer, Merrill will share some insights into the history of area sports. There will also be a walk-through of the new library after the program.
