Joyce Anna Martin, 78, of Sweet Home died Saturday at Bridgcreek Memory Care Facility in Lebanon.

She was born in Long Beach, Calif., the daughter of Dennis and Beulah (Boyd) Gray. She was raised in Redondo Beach, Calif., and graduated from Redondo High School. 

She married Ralph Martin on Sept. 11, 1948, in Long Beach, Calif., and they had just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. They lived in Southern California and later Northern California before retiring to Sweet Home in 1995.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph; children John Martin, Lari Ashley and Richard “Dick” Martin; brothers Carl, Arthur and Howard Gray; sister Drew “Tissie” Holloran; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
