County taxes due by Monday

Electronic payment now available

Those who have not yet paid their taxes to Linn County may now do so electronically through a third party vendor.

Taxpayers may use a major credit card, debit card or electronic check to make a payment. Linn County Tax Assessment and Collection has contracted with the vendor Point & Pay to provide this service.

Taxpayers should note that, according to Point & Pay, “a nominal fee is calculated and charged” for the service.

Residents can make an online payment by going to www.co.linn.or.us, clicking Departments/Services and selecting the Tax Collector home page. Taxpayers can also call (866) 606-6404 to make a payment.

Linn County bills were mailed on Oct. 24 and are due this Monday.
