LINN COUNTY SHERIFF

Burglary — A house in the 33000 block of Oakville Road was broken into sometime before Sunday evening. A Walther .22-caliber semi-automatic pistol and Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun were stolen.

LEBANON POLICE

Hit and run — A vehicle in the 200 block of E. Vine Street was reportedly sideswiped by an unidentified vehicle sometime Friday morning. Damage valued at $3,000.

Stolen vehicle — Alejandro Chavez, 19, was arrested at Bob Smith Memorial Park Friday night after he crashed while attempting to elude police in a stolen car. Chavez is charged with felony attempt to elude, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, reckless driving, theft and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle. He was lodged at the Linn County Jail.

SWEET HOME POLICE

Drug possession — Joseph Arthur Williams, 30, was arrested around 1 p.m. Sunday in the 800 block of Long Street and charged with possession of methadone and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. He was lodged in the Linn County Jail.
