Employee honored: Lauren Dolan has been selected as Employee of the Month at Cambridge Terrace Assisted Living. Dolan has worked at Cambridge Terrace since May 2008 in the community's kitchen. A senior at South Albany High School, Dolan works nights and weekends and during school vacations.

New physician: Rebecca H. Reiser, M.D., is the newest physician in The Corvallis Clinic Neurology Department. She joined Dr. Richard Lafrance, Dr. Cecilia Keller, and Dr. Sydney Piercey in July and will see patients in both Corvallis and Albany medical offices. Reiser recently finished her neurology residency at the University of Utah Medical Center, in Salt Lake City. She completed an internship in 2005 in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Utah Medical Center and her medical degree in 2005 from the University of Utah School of Medicine. She is board-eligible by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology.

Technology Award: Perpetua Power Source Technologies of Corvallis has been honored with the selection of its Perpetua Power Puck as one of the winners of the R&D Magazine 2009 R&D 100 Award. The company provides renewable energy solutions for wireless sensors. The award honors the product as one of the 100 most technologically significant in the industry.
