Joins Lebanon practice: Natasa Petrac, MD, has joined Samaritan's Main Street Family Medicine in Lebanon. She is accepting new patients. Dr. Petrac earned a medical degree at the University of Ljubljana School of Medicine in Slovenia, and completed residency training in family medicine at Union Hospital in Indiana. She also completed a geriatric fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Petrac is board certified in family medicine and board eligible in geriatrics. She provides care to the entire family, from infants to seniors. She has been in practice since 1996. Dr. Petrac joins Richard Evans, MD, and Christopher Wallis, PA-C. Broker: Gail Thompson joins Heritage NW Real Estate as a licensed Real Estate Broker, something she has always wanted to do. She is specializing in residential listings and sales. Thompson has had a lot of experience in the customer service field and loves working with people. She worked nine years with Lebanon Community Hospital. She is married and has two boys. Center moves: Heartspring Wellness Center has moved to a new location in Corvallis, at 990 N.W. Circle Blvd., Suite 201. With the move comes an expansion to host 18 accredited health-care providers who offer primary integrative care, naturopathic medicine, acupuncture, nutrition counseling, chronic disease management, mind-body counseling, massage therapy, movement therapy and a variety of classes. Most providers are accepting new patients. The center's Wellbeing Resource Center offers a selection of health-related educational materials, supplements and yoga apparel. New administrator: Samaritan Health Services welcomes Jody Burton as the new administrator at Samaritan Wiley Creek Community in Sweet Home. Burton comes to Wiley Creek with 12 years of experience in assisted living administration. Her most recent job was at Timberview Care Center in Albany. Wiley Creek offers independent living cottages and an assisted living center, on a 42-acre setting in Sweet Home. The community is close to health care and other services in downtown Sweet Home, and is near Foster Lake. Burton invites interested parties to call for a free tour. Tire sales: Merle Hiddleson, who co-owned Gary & Merle's Tires in Albany for 20 years, is now working at GCR Tire in Coburg. He has been at GCR for two months and is handling inside sales at the store. Hiddleson, who also worked at Hanson Tire, has been in the tire business for 32 years.
New to team: Alan Edwards has joined the real estate sales team at Windermere/Willamette Valley, in Albany. Edwards has been serving buyers and sellers of real estate for nearly two years. Prior to receiving his real estate broker's license Alan managed a machine and fabrication shop for Willamette Industries. Edwards specializes in working with new people and helping them through a real estate transaction. He also specifically enjoys working on rural properties in the Linn county area where he has lived most of his life. Gold medal: Cardwell Hill Cellars was awarded a gold medal for its 2006 Estate Bottled Pinot Noir at the recent Oregon State Fair in Salem. Cardwell Hill Cellars is a family-owned winery, tasting room and vinyard located northwest of Philomath.
