Therapist added: A Touch of Class Day Spa has welcomed Irena Mitev to its staff. Irena specializes in rain drop therapy, a technique that integrates massage and therapeutic-grade pure essential oils to help the body with structural alignment and electrical conductivity as well as enhancement of immunity and feeling of well being. Mitev is a graduate of Massage U in Silverton and also had trigger point training at East West Massage College in Portland. Branch manager: Central Willamette Community Credit Union has promoted Mickey Parvin to the position of branch manager for the credit union's Pacific Boulevard office at the corner of 29th Avenue, 905 29th Ave. S.W. Parvin has been with the credit union for 12 years. She has held various positions, most recently as phone center supervisor, for which she supervised phone receptionists and phone sales consultants.

Officers elected: The Vina Moses Center board of directors recently elected new officers for the 2009-10 year: George Abele, president; Ron Thiesen, vice president; Alice Morrow, secretary; and Peg Obrist, treasurer. The Vina Moses Center serves as a link between community giving and those with limited resources.

Winery board: Benton County Wineries Association elected new board members at the annual meeting of the group in March. Those elected will serve terms ranging from one to two years. Elected were: Ormond T. "Norm" Galvin of Spindrift Cellars, Philomath, chairman and president; Tom Johns, Emerson Vineyards, Monmouth, vice chair; Dai Crisp, Lumos Wine Company, Philomath, director; Charlie Gilson, Pheasant Court Winery, Philomath, director; and Steve Girard, Benton Lane Winery, Monroe, director.
