New physician: Dr. Antoine Sayegh is the newest physician in The Corvallis Clinic Oncology and Hematology Department, joining Dr. Vicky Lee and Dr. Martin Majer. He replaces Dr. Stephen Neville, who retired April 3. Dr. Sayegh comes from the Sacramento Center for Hematology and Medical Oncology, where he worked since 1993. He completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Hershey University Hospital, Pennsylvania State University in 1986, and a fellowship in bone marrow transplantation at Vancouver General Hospital at the University of British Columbia in 1993. Dr. Sayegh completed his residency and internship in internal medicine at Atlantic City Medical Center in 1983. He received his medical degree from Aleppo University School of Medicine in Aleppo, Syria, in 1979. Dr. Sayegh is board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine.

Manager promoted: Washington Federal Savings has named Albany branch manager Stacy Hart the Western Oregon Manager of Commercial Estate Lending, announced Roy Whitehead, company president and CEO. Hart, who has 29 years banking experience, attended the University of Oregon. She has managed the Albany branch for the past nine years and prior to that spent five years as manager of Washington Federal's Hillsboro office.
Washington Federal has 150 offices in eight states and specializes in residential real estate lending.
New Oregon operation: The Residential Power Systems Division of the SunWize Technologies Distributed Power Group has expanded its operations into Oregon. The first branch will be located in Philomath and serve the Interstate 5 corridor between Eugene and Portland. The Philomath office will focus on residential projects. Dave and Heidi Eveland, with over five years of experience in the Oregon solar market, will operate the business.
