New administrator: Goldie Dickey is the new administrator at Stoneybrook Assisted Living in Corvallis. She has been in the health care industry for 30-plus years in several different positions. For the past seven years she has held been administrator in Washington state for an 80-bed assisted living memory care community. For the last four years in that position she maintained a deficiency-free survey as well as 98 percent to 100 percent occupancy level.
Chamber packet: The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce New Membership Packet was awarded the "Best Large Chamber Membership Packet" award by the Oregon State Chamber of Commerce at its annual conference in November. Designed by the Chamber staff, the publication offers businesses a close look at the chamber's five core competencies and showcases successes and opportunities of businesses that have partnered with the chamber.
Officers named: The Lebanon Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors have selected officers for 2009. Betty Schmidt, a senior loan consultant with Pacific Crest Home Loans, and Jared Garlick, branch manager with US Bank, have been named as co-chairs and Nancy Patton, owner of Patton Productions and the Blonde Basket Case, was selected to return as secretary. The ambassadors work in support of the chamber greeting and welcoming new and established members. They also work on various community and chamber events.
