Data processing changes: Coastal Farm has announced two changes in its data processing department. Hillary King has been promoted to Data Processing Supervisor and Nikki Campbell moves to data processing specialist for the new Hearth and Hardlines buyer.
King has been with Coastal Farm for nine years starting in Eugene. She came to Albany as a data processing specialist in 2001. Her new position will include employee training, departmental customer service & communications. Campbell has been at the Albany store since 2002, working as a cashier, lawn & garden dept lead and most recently in the Hearth & Stove department.

Tech certification: Disaster Restorations announced that three of its restoration technicians have completed and received completion certificates for the Certified Mold Technician course. Local recipients are: Charlie 'CJ' Dickson and Jeremy Medlin of Albany and Mary Scott of Lebanon. Disaster Restorations' production manager, Don Boots of Corvallis, also attended and received a completion certificate for the course. Disaster Restorations is a restoration contractor specializing in water damage mitigation, mold remediation and fire damage restoration. The company also offers truck mounted steam carpet cleaning.

Life and health addition: Rhodes-Warden Insurance is pleased to announce the recent addition of Douglas Peters to its Life and Health department. Peters is a licensed agent who was previously with Standard Insurance of Oregon. A former University of Oregon athlete, he has lived in the Lebanon area for six years. Acupuncturist: Deanna Rennings, LAC has opened her practice at the Art of Touch Massage and Wellness Center. Deanna has moved her practice from Eugene to the Albany area. She is a fully licenced, board certified Acupuncturist and Oriental Herbalist. Deanna uses acupunture, herbs and other Asian body work techniques to restore balance and well-being.

Honored for excellence: For the fifth year in a row, MEI, LLC of Albany has been honored by Analog Devices, Inc. with a Supplier Excellence Award. MEI, a leading provider of semiconductor services and equipment, received the award at a ceremony in Hong Kong in April. Only 15 suppliers were selected for the special recognition.
The award recognizes consistent, outstanding performance and continuous improvement.
