Promoted: Susan Snyder has been promoted to laboratory manager at The Corvallis Clinic. She replaces Rich Eastburn, who retired after 40 years at the clinic. Snyder was previously the laboratory assistant manager and has held other positions in the laboratory since she began there in 1989. The Corvallis Clinic's on-site laboratory collects or receives specimens for analysis and culture, including lab tests from outside medical groups. Dr. Stephen Neville will continue to serve as director and will work with Snyder on laboratory oversight and regulatory issues. Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Agents attend convention: Among the 7,000 real estate agents and brokers at the Keller Williams Realty annual convention, Family Reunion in Orlando, Fla., were 14 Mid-Willamette brokers. The agents from Albany, Lebanon, Corvallis and Salem attended the four-day event Feb. 22-25 to receive new strategies and tactics to sustain their businesses. Among the speakers were Keller Williams CEO Mark Willis, Vice Chairman Mo Anderson and Chairman and Founder Gary Keller. More than 170 training sessions were available, covering a wide range of realty topics. The event also launched KW Commercial, a new division of the company that provides commercial real estate associates with specialized technology, marketing tools and resources.
Elected regent: Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Steve Jasperson has been elected regent for the American College of Healthcare Executives, an international professional society of more than 30,000 health care executives. Jasperson will serve a three-year term representing American College of Healthcare Executives affiliates in Oregon. The duties include working as an adviser and consultant to the regional chapter, hosting educational and recognition programs and more.
Accredited: Cody Timmins, a project engineer at Greenberry Construction of Corvallis, recently earned his designation as a LEED Accredited Professional. Those accredited, as approved by the Green Building Certification Institute, have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System.
