Manager named: KeyBank has named Bob Reineke to manage the branch at 310 S. Third St. in Harrisburg. He will manage the consumer and business banking service delivery at the branch, and is accountable for the branch's revenue, expense management and profitability. Prior to joining KeyBank, Reineke worked as an investment representative with Edward Jones and as a loan officer with Infinity Lending Solutions, both in Eugene. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a bachelor's degree in economics and a master's in business administration.

Grant recipient: The Benton Furniture Share, serving Linn, Benton and surrounding counties, is the recipient of a $7,500 grant from theJohn and Netta B. Parke Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation for support to current programs, to increase resource development activities and to expand operations in Linn County and rural areas of Benton and Lincoln counties. Benton Furniture Share provides basic furniture and household goods to those within the vulnerable populations of local communities.

Bank honored: Willamette Community Bank president and CEO Dave Wood announced recently that the bank has been awarded a 5-Star (Superior) Rating from Bauer Financial, Inc., an independent bank rating company. The 5-Star Rating indicates that Willamette Community Bank is both financially sound and has the resources to deal with a variety of economic conditions. Bauer's 5-Star Rating, its highest performance ranking, represents an independent, unbiased analysis of a financial institution's safety and soundness position. It is based on a complex analysis of financial criteria including capitalization, asset quality, profitability, liquidity and risk. Bauer has been analyzing and reporting the financial condition of the nation's banking industry since 1983. Willamette Community Bank has branches in Albany and Lebanon.

Volunteer board: Willamette Valley Wineries Association's new volunteer board for 2009 was recently elected. The 2009 officers are: President, Alex Sokol Blosser, Sokol Blosser Winery; Vice President, Morgan Broadley, Broadley Vineyards; and President Emeritus, David Adelsheim, Adelsheim Vineyard. The nonprofit industry association is dedicated to achieving recognition for the Willamette Valley as a premier pinot noir-producing region.
