Linda Navarro, president and CEO of the Oregon Bankers Association, will be the featured speaker at the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce membership luncheon on Wednesday.
Navarro was named CEO of the organization in 2006. She has been with OBA for more than 12 years.
A graduate of Willamette University with a degree in business economics and art, she also attended the Northwest Bank Directors' College.
The OBA, located in Salem, is Oregon's only trade association representing state and national banks and trust companies. As part of her position she also serves as head of OBA's sister association, the Independent Community Banks of Oregon, and is CEO of the organization's wholly-owned subsidiary, BancSource.
Navarro is also a trustee of the Northwest Financial Association's Employee Benefit Trust; a member of the American Bankers Association State Association Division; and a past member of the American Bankers Association Committee on Housing and Community Affairs.
She has also worked for nonprofit arts organizations and has been involved in the legislative process.
