Joins sales team: Allann Bros. Coffee has announced that Kim Garcia is joining the company as part of the sales team. Previously, Garcia was a contract specialist at the University of Oregon for more than eight years.

Joins SMART: Diane Wilkinson, the Start Making a Reader Today area manager for the North Coast - Clatsop, Tillamook and Yamhill counties - will start overseeing and promoting financial sustainability for SMART's Central Valley area of Linn, Benton, Marion and Polk counties on Wednesday, July 1. Volunteers in the SMART program, including business leaders, retirees and college students, read one-on-one with children. Each child in the SMART program gets two books each month to take home and keep.

Fast growth: InsightsNow Inc., a Corvallis-based market research firm for the consumer packaged good industry, was ranked number 46 on the Portland Business Journal's 2009 list of Oregon's 100 fastest-growing private companies. The announcement was made on June 18. The company, which was also ranked on the list in 2008 and 2007, was also recognized as the 10th fastest growing in number of employees.
