CORVALLIS - The Svens brand of "Cowboy Surf Poetry" is on the trail again, this time back in time to the old West.

In an all new adventure, "Capital Ventures," the Svens will take its audience on a journey back to to Drake, Mo., a small town eight days off the Oregon Trail circa 1860, for a bit of history mixed with the band's signature 1960s surf sound.

The free show will be at 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Bombs Away Cafe, 2527 N.W. Monroe Ave.
