CORVALLIS - A gallery opening and reception celebrating the work of Corvallis artist Dorothea Fransoza will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, at FireWorks Restaurant, 1115 S.E. Third St.

Fransoza, 84, creates exquisite works in watercolor, acrylic and collage. Her style ranges from mystical landscapes to abstract pieces.
