Music, comedy duo Williams & Ree also join lineup
SWEET HOME - Jamboree favorite Neal McCoy will return to the Oregon Jamboree in Sweet Home this year, his fourth performance at the three-day Sweet Home music festival.
The music and comedy duo of Williams & Ree also returns. The pair last performed at the Jamboree in 2005 and had three other performances in the 1990s.
The two additions complete the lineup for the 16th annual Oregon Jamboree, which takes place Aug. 1-3 in Sweet Home.
The schedule also includes Glen Campbell; Western Underground, the band of the late Chris LeDoux; and headliners Sugarland, Randy Owen and Trace Adkins.
McCoy, also a regular crowd-pleaser at the Linn County Fair, is known for No. 1 hits "No Doubt About It" and "Wink." His 10-album discography includes three platinum albums, "No Doubt About It," "You Gotta Love That" and "Greatest Hits." He's scheduled to perform at 4:15 p.m. Sunday.
Bruce Williams and Terry Ree formed their comedy act in 1968 and have been performing together ever since. They are scheduled to take the stage at 3 p.m. Friday.
Gates open at 1:30 p.m. Friday and the first concert starts at 3 p.m. Sunday performances close out at 6:30 p.m.
General admission for adults is $105 for three days or $70 for one day. Children ages 7-12 get in for $25 for three days or $12 for one day.
