Workers from Edel Designs Inc. of Albany install brightly painted panels around three columns in the children's section of the Albany main library. Artist Cheryl French of Albany said her works explore three realms children can explore in books: new ideas, exciting places, and scientific and natural wonders of the world. Other art pieces to be placed at the library are an outdoor sculpture and a painting over the main circulation desk.
