People arrested are innocent unless proven otherwise in court. Initial charges often change as a case progresses.

Albany Police

Listed missing were a briefcase with paperwork, a silver spade bit for horses and a yellow blanket with horses on it. Estimated loss: $900.

Ouch - Police responded to a call late Monday morning from a man saying he was assaulted by his girlfriend. The woman allegedly threw a cell phone at him and hit him in the face. The woman was arrested for fourth-degree domestic assault, a misdemeanor, and the man was arrested for contempt of court for violating his release agreement by buying and consuming alcohol, as well as second-degree criminal mischief.
