Oregon Book Award winner Lauren Kessler will speak at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Linn-Benton Community College Center, Fireside Room, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W., Albany.

Kessler will read from "Stubborn Twig" and lead a discussion on what guides and inspires her writing.
