People arrested are innocent unless proven otherwise in court. Initial charges often change as a case progresses.

Brothers arrested - Two brothers were arrested Thursday evening following a fight at the Albany Skatepark.
According to police, here's what happened:
They got a call at 9:23 p.m. about a fight at the skatepark but by the time officers arrived the fight had broken up.
Police found one of the suspected fighters about a block away with his brother. The brother had an outstanding warrant for which he was given a citation.
The alleged fighter, who was intoxicated and defiant, began throwing punches and kicking at the officers when they tried to arrest him.
Police said they used a "focused blow," striking the man in the nose. Officer also used a Taser to restrain him.
Albany medics responded but the 20-year-old man refused medical treatment. He was taken to the Linn County Jail on misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and attempt to assault a police officer.
Drive-through cussing - Two intoxicated 17-year-old boys were arrested Thursday evening after causing a problem at the Jack In The Box drive-through.
It started when the boys cussed into the intercom while placing an order. Then, police said, the boys began cussing at the driver in front of them who was waiting to get her food at the window. The passenger in the boys' pickup walked up to the woman's car and continued cussing at her.
The boy then went back to the pickup, where police found him and the driver still sitting in the drive-through lineup when they arrived.
Both boys were charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol. The driver was cited for reckless driving and the passenger was charged with disorderly conduct. Both were taken to the police station.
Stolen SUV - A dark green 1994 Isuzu Trooper with Oregon license YLL 858 was reported stolen Thursday from the 200 block of Jefferson Street S.E. The vehicle was stolen earlier this month while the owner was in jail.
Crash update - Michael Bernard Miller, 56, of Halsey, the driver of a pilot vehicle guiding an oversized load that crashed Thursday morning along Pacific Boulevard near 29th Avenue S.W., was in fair condition this morning at the Corvallis hospital. Police said Miller had a medical condition that caused his vehicle to go off the road and hit a tree. Another car was clipped by Miller's vehicle. That driver was not hurt.
