Library to host Albany Idol talent shows

Singers, dancers, martial artists, magicians and other talented kids will perform at the seventh annual Albany Idol talent shows, set for Tuesday and Wednesday, July 14 and 15.

Competition begins at 2 p.m. each day. The Tuesday show will be at the main library, 2450 14th Ave. S.E.; Wednesday's talent will perform at the Carnegie library, 302 Ferry St. S.W. Cash prizes will be awarded.

Kids up to age 18 who want to perform are invited to pick up entry forms at either library. All the programs are free and open for audiences of children kindergarten age and older.
