Each spring and fall, with the support of the Bicycle Transportation Alliance, the Albany Bicycle Safety Education Program provides bicycle safety education in the Albany schools to fifth-grade students. They are in need of volunteer help with fitting helmets, riding drills on the playground, and riding along on a community ride.

The group provides all the knowledge and expertise needed for the volunteers.
