ALBANY POLICE
Stolen Jeep - A green 2002 Jeep Wrangler with Washington license plate number 665 SRZ was reported stolen Wednesday from a car lot in the 5000 block of Pacific Boulevard S.W.
Car vs. bike - A woman went to the Albany hospital with minor injuries after she was struck by a car at the intersection of Queen Avenue and Jackson Street S.E. shortly before 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
According to police, Walter Newton Hyatt, 76, of Albany was driving a 2000 Mercury and turning from Jackson Street onto Queen Avenue. He didn't see Lynda Jean Newton, 40, of Albany, who was on a bicycle and traveling east on Queen Avenue.
LINN COUNTY SHERIFF
Arrests - Deputies arrested two Albany men Wednesday on charges of possession and delivery of methamphetamine. John David Cude, 51, and his son, Merle Allen Cude, 28, were lodged in the Linn County Jail.
SWEET HOME POLICE
Menacing charge - Police responded around 2 a.m. Wednesday to the 1200 block of 55th Avenue for a report of an intoxicated man who was scaring his wife and might harm himself with a hunting rifle. Officers arrested the 22-year-old man on charges of harassment, menacing and disorderly conduct.
Broken windows - Someone threw a rock through a window at a home in the 600 block of 17th Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday.
A second report of a damage window came in around 11 p.m. Wednesday, when a man told police someone has just thrown something through his window in the 3200 Main Street.
