People arrested are innocent unless proved otherwise in court. Initial charges often change as a case progresses.
LINN COUNTY SHERIFF
Drug raid - The Linn Drug Task Force served a search warrant Thursday at 640 Third Ave. S.W., Albany.
Detectives seized dealer amounts of methamphetamine and marijuana, scales, packaging material and drug paraphernalia.
Robert Lindsay Tamayo, 44, and Lisa Ann Anderson, 42, were arrested and charged with delivery of meth, possession of meth and delivery of marijuana. They were lodged in the Linn County Jail.
The Linn Drug Task Force includes members of the Linn County Sheriff's Office and the Albany, Lebanon and Sweet Home police departments.
Trailer found - A horse trailer that had been stolen from Central Linn High School was found in Lewis County, Washington, according to a report made Thursday.
Pickup stolen - A white 2001 Dodge Dakota with license YAF 417 was reported stolen Thursday from the 2100 block of Stoltz Hill Road. The vehicle was taken Sunday and the sheriff's office is following up on a possible suspect.
Storage unit burglary - Band equipment worth almost $8,000 was reported stolen Thursday from a storage unit on Highway 99E in Tangent.
Knox Butte Crash - The sheriff's office responded to a single-vehicle crash at 4:53 p.m. Thursday on Knox Butte Road. According to the sheriff's office, driver Jon Townsend Orsborn, 52, of Albany had minor injuries but was not transported to a hospital. He was driving a 1989 Chevy Blazer.
KGAL crash - There was a single-vehicle crash at 1:36 this morning on KGAL Drive. The driver of the 1999 Honda Accord, Kim Fox, 45, of Albany was cited for driving while suspended, according to the sheriff's office. Two passengers were taken to Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital with possible or minor injuries.
ALBANY POLICE
Pickup found - A Toyota pickup stolen from the Albany Station, 110 10th Ave. S.W., was found in the Salem area after it was involved in an elude with the Marion County Sheriff's Office. According to a police log, the vehicle had been left at the train station last Saturday and the owner learned it was stolen after getting a call from the sheriff's office. The owner then went to the Albany Police Department on Thursday to fill out a stolen vehicle report.
Scam - An Albany resident called police after believing that someone was trying to scam her.
According to a police log, here's what happened: The woman signed up on the Internet to be a mystery shopper. The Web site no longer exists. She received a check for $1,500, was told to deposit it and send most of the money to a man in Canada to test her customer service skills.
The woman's bank notified her that the check was fake before she lost any money.
Stolen car - A green 1995 Toyota Tercel with license 758 BUV was reported stolen from the 500 block of 30th Avenue S.E. The car was stolen sometime between 3 a.m. and noon Thursday.
Frosty slasher - A man reported that an inflatable Frosty in his west Albany yard was slashed shortly after midnight Thursday. An officer searched the area but didn't find the Frosty slasher.
LEBANON POLICE
Downtown vandalism - Three businesses in downtown Lebanon reported to police Thursday morning that someone had shot one of their windows with a BB gun sometime during the night. Damage estimates varied from $600 to $800 per business.
SWEET HOME POLICE
Drug offense - Desiree Laree Tenbusch, 24, of Sweet Home was arrested early Thursday morning and charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth), distribution of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and driving under the influence of intoxicants. Tenbusch was transported to the Linn County Jail.
