Cake party planned for 99th birthday
In honor of Agnes Robinson's 99th birthday, friends and family are invited for cake at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Alterra Villas of Albany, 1560 Davidson St. S.E.
Robinson was born April 1, 1908, in Beaverton. She and her husband, Clarence, had three children: June, Clarence Jr. and Karol. She has seven grandchildren, one of whom is pro golfer Justin Bolli.
Agnes and Clarence owned and operated a dairy farm in Tillamook for 17 years. They moved to Albany in 1959, and co-owned Albany Golf Club for three years. Agnes continued to play golf three times a week until she was 84. She gave up golf to take care of Clarence, who had Alzheimer's. She has lived at the Villas for 11 years.
