East Linn Christian Academy will hold its 22nd annual benefit auction Saturday at the Lebanon Boys & Girls Club.

There will be a full day of events, starting with breakfast from 7 to 9:30 a.m. A silent auction will run from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Homebaked goods go on sale at 8 a.m. and will be available until they're gone.

There will be lots of activities for little ones at the Kids' Corner, which runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A chicken barbecue will be offered from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Hamburgers and hot dogs will also be available.

A live auction will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Among the items to be sold will be a refurbished 1948 Ferguson TE-20 antique tractor that "runs like a charm" and is "ready for use around the farm, tractor shows, parades and more."

There's also a queen-size, custom-made log bed frame with a custom dresser and two night stands. The bed, lamp and other items to be auctioned are on display at Heritage Mall. Other auction items include: 1978 Ford 4X4 pickup, 1983 Toyota Celica GT, custom-made coffee table, Dewalt 18V cordless drill, custom-framed glass mirrow, log-style playhouse with balcony, several quilts, and tires and wheels for vehicles.

If fishing is more to your liking, there will be several fishing trips up for auction including a bass fishing trip for two, a steelhead/salmon trip on the Coos or Coquille rivers, a sturgeon trip on the Columbia, and a guided trip on the Santiam River.

The 2006 auction raised more than $106,000, which was $24,000 more than the year before, according to Kory Bates, development director for ELCA. The event attracted more than 300 people.

All proceeds will benefit the educational needs of the East Linn Christian Academy. For more information, call 259-2324.
