The caller estimated the value at $1,050.

Cat football - A caller Thursday reported seeing two juveniles tossing a cat back and forth "playing football" and was concerned about comments the children allegedly made about the cat getting hurt in the past and being OK. An officer investigated and found that Bubbles did not appear to be injured and it was not possible to prove a crime had been committed.

LINN COUNTY SHERIFF

Good dog! - Patrol dog Jari was called in to Sweet Home to help locate a person who had wandered away, possibly with unknown pills, into the brush off Highway 20 just outside of town early Thursday morning. Jari located the man, who was lying on the ground in the brush.

Stolen generator - A caller reported a Honda 300 generator, stove, griddle and other items stolen Thursday from a cabin on the upper Calapooia near Holley.

Stolen part - A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a Toyota pickup parked in the 1900 block of South Seventh Street in Lebanon early this morning. Deputies say 1990s Toyota pickups are often targets of this type of theft due to the accessibility of the converters and the ease and speed in which they can be removed with a saw.
