Albany police

Stolen Honda - A green 1995 Honda Accord with license UNY 863 was reported stolen Saturday. The car had been parked outside Samaritan Albany General Hospital and was taken while the owner was at work.

Burglary - An office in the 900 block of Ninth Avenue S.W. was broken into early Sunday morning. Police and a patrol dog searched for burglars but didn't find any. Nothing was missing from the office.

Arrest - Shawn Ross Wolf, 26, of Albany was arrested Friday in the 500 block of Madison Street S.E. Wolf allegedly tried to flee from police after they made initial contact with him for driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was charged with DUII, attempt to elude, interfering with a peace officer and reckless endangerment. He was booked at the Linn County Jail and released.

Linn County Sheriff

Stolen car - A white 2006 Kia Optima, four-door, with license 451 DPT was reported stolen Sunday from the 800 block of Centennial Court in Halsey. Value: $15,000.

Crash - A 1994 Oldsmobile traveling on Linn West Drive near Halsey slid on hail around 5:15 p.m. Sunday and crashed in a ditch, according to the sheriff's office. The driver, Nancy Jane Radke, 51, of Lebanon, was taken to the Lebanon hospital with minor injuries. Passenger Garold Eugene Radke, 54, also had minor injuries but was not transported.

Stolen tools - An Echo chain saw, plastic tool box, Craftsman tools and a backpack weed sprayer were reported stolen Saturday from a shed on Holley Heights Loop.

Sweet Home police

Arrest - Police arrested Justin Wayne Seibert, 19, of Sweet Home early Sunday morning and took him to the Linn County Jail. He was charged with sex abuse and related offenses in connection with an incident reported the morning before by the family of an 11-year-old girl.

According to police reports, the girl had spent the night at a home where Seibert was staying. He and the victim are not related.

Albany fire

RV fire - A fire destroyed a small RV around 12:30 a.m. today at Knox Butte RV Park, 125 Expo Parkway N.E.

The 1985 Nissan RV was a total loss. The vehicle and contents were valued at $3,500, according to the fire department.

A woman in the trailer fell asleep and dropped a cigarette on the floor, which is what started the fire, according to the department. The woman got out safely.

Lebanon fire

Trailer fire - Firefighters at about 5:30 this morning extinguished a trailer fire on private property in the 36000 block of Airport Road.

According to Chief Dan Woodson, the blaze originated from electrical wiring under the floor. The trailer was unoccupied and was being renovated by the owner.
