Robert Abner is wanted on rape, sodomy charges
The Sedgwick County Kansas Sheriff's Office is looking for help in locating a fugitive, possibly headed to Oregon.
Robert D. Abner, 39, is wanted on seven counts of rape, two counts of aggravated criminal sodomy, one count of aggravated robbery and one count of aggravated kidnapping.
Abner is white, 6 feet tall, weighs 300 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has had facial hair in the past but may have shaved and could still have several days' growth of beard.
Abner was last known to be driving a dark blue or black 1995 Lexus SC 400 displaying Kansas license 573 AAM. He was reportedly born in Eugene. According to the sheriff's office, he may have several acquaintances in that area.
Anyone with information regarding his location is asked to call 911 or Oregon State Police Northern Command Center dispatch at (800) 452-7888.
