Arrest - Deborah Sue Marquis, 38, was arrested early this morning after police responded to a disturbance in the 3100 block of Santiam Highway S.E. Marquis was charged with possession of a controlled substance (meth), resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. She was taken to the Linn County Jail.

Diesel spill update - A diesel spill that occurred Tuesday morning after a container fell from a vehicle at Murder Creek and Century Drive in Millersburg happened during a trailer theft, according to the sheriff's office.
A 2006 Eagle 7-by-16-foot flatbed trailer worth $2,300 was taken from Willamette Memorial Park Cemetery. As the thief left the area, a barrel of diesel apparently fell from the trailer and spilled. The trailer, which was not recovered, has a license of U386781.
LEBANON POLICE
Railroad damage - The Albany & Eastern Railroad reported Monday that a 10-inch section of rail was damaged by a low riding trailer along South Williams and East A streets. Damage to the rail was estimated at $10,000.
sweet home police
Arrest - Scott Lee Clark, 42, of Sweet Home was arrested Tuesday on charges of failure to appear, unauthorized use of a vehicle, attempt to elude and second-degree theft by receiving. He was lodged in the Linn County Jail.
OREGON STATE POLICE
Vehicle found - State police recovered a stolen vehicle Tuesday. The vehicle had been stolen from outside an Albany apartment during the night before and found abandoned along Highway 34.
