The annual country music festival wraps up with a bang
This year's edition of the festival was "probably the best ever in terms of attendance," according to event director Peter LaPonte.
Friday and Saturday's attendance was about 14,000 each day. Sunday's event drew about 10,000 fans, LaPonte said.
"Tim McGraw was totally awesome. A lot of people really liked Montgomery Gentry last night," LaPonte said this morning. "Our revenue is up over last year in all areas."
Saturday's headliners included Tracy Lawrence and LeAnn Rimes. Sunday's lineup included Mel Tillis, Jake Owen and Montgomery Gentry.
Volunteers were tearing down the site today.
"By 2 o'clock, you won't even know there had been a show out here," LaPonte said.
