People arrested are innocent unless proven otherwise in court. Initial charges often change as a case progresses.

Albany Police

Items taken - Collectibles and a laptop were reported missing about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday from the State Farm Insurance office, 629 Hickory St. N.W. There was no sign of forced entry and an employee is not suspected. Police are examining a print found on a glass candy jar.

Door kicked in - An intoxicated man kicked in a door in the 200 block of Thurston Street about 7:45 p.m. Wednesday. The man also broke the door frame, and then walked in and said "Oh, sorry, wrong house." The man left, driving away with a woman. The door kicker was identified, and a complaint was signed for second-degree criminal mischief and first-degree criminal trespass.

Fireworks in lake - A security worker saw a man throw an M-80 into Timber-Linn Memorial Park Lake that exploded about 8:20 p.m. Wednesday. Police could not locate the suspect.

Loud sex - A son went to his mother's house in the 2300 block of Salem Avenue S.E. to give her something and heard the mother's boyfriend yelling and hitting the wall in the bedroom about 11:20 p.m. Wednesday. The son called police, who responded. They talked to the woman and her boyfriend in the bedroom. The boyfriend said the pair were in the middle of having sex but "people kept bothering them." There was no evidence of any problem or injuries.

Linn County Sheriff

Foot rot - A caller told the sheriff's office about 10 a.m. Wednesday she had noticed sheep behind the Interstate 5 northbound rest area south of Albany that were having trouble standing and walking. A deputy contacted the owner and was told the sheep have foot rot and he is taking steps to take care of the problem.

Sweet Home Police

Computer missing - The Sweet Home School District reported at 10 a.m. Wednesday that a BYTE computer and Sansom monitor were missing from the Learning Resource Center, 1641 Long St. They are valued together at $800.

Lebanon Police

Strip poker - A caller reported that a man and woman were playing strip poker about 6 p.m. Tuesday near a playground at 401 E. Grant St. The woman had lost her clothing above the waist and the man had lost his shirt and jeans. When police arrived, the people were clothed and not playing strip poker.

Drug arrests - A detective saw what he thought was a drug transaction between two adults near Hiatt and Isabella streets at 4:30 p.m. Monday. More than an ounce of methamphetamine, crack cocaine, a handgun, scales, packaging materials, psilocybin mushrooms and more than $500 was seized.

A 4- and 5-year-old were present and released to a guardian.

Arrested were Lindsey Lucille Wells, 18, of Sweet Home on charges of delivery and possession of meth, possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number and first-degree child neglect. Also arrested was Cody Lee Vern Jones, 28, of Sweet Home on charges of delivery and possession of meth and unlawful possession of crack cocaine.

Both were taken to the Linn County Jail.
