CORRECTION
Lebanon arrest - Robert Louis Zurcher, 50, was arrested Sunday outside the Wal-Mart Supercenter on an outstanding warrant and the charge of giving false information to police. The Democrat-Herald incorrectly stated in Monday's paper that the man was Joseph Zurcher.
ALBANY POLICE
Stolen Nissans - A white 1990 two-door Nissan Sentra was stolen Saturday from the 2100 block of Pacific Boulevard S.W. The vehicle has the license QXG 089.
A black 1989 two-door Nissan Sentra with license QGE 952 was reported stolen Sunday from the 1700 block of Queen Avenue S.W.
MIP party - Police responded at 2:20 a.m. Sunday to a noise complaint in the 800 block of 34th Avenue S.E. and found a group of intoxicated minors. Officers issued 13 citations for minor in possession of alcohol.
Theft - Three torque wrenches and two Motorola two-way radios worth $1,000 were stolen from trailers in the 400 block of Davidson Street N.E. Police took a report Monday.
Crash info - A man apparently left a crash scene Monday afternoon without giving correct insurance information to the other driver.
Police responded at 4:40 p.m. Monday to a parking lot along Santiam Highway. A driver said her vehicle had been hit from behind while she slowed down in traffic. The two drivers pulled into the parking lot to exchange information, but the man left when the other driver said she was going to call police. Officers are attempting to locate the driver. No one was injured in the collision.
Home entered - A woman came home to her apartment Saturday evening and found the front door open and two men running outside. She called police, who did an area search but were unable to locate the men.
The men were described as 5-foot-10 to 5-foot-11 with stocky build. One was wearing a gray beanie hat and was possibly Hispanic. The second man was white and was wearing a red sweatshirt and red hat.
Nothing was taken from the residence, which is located on Oak Street S.E.
LINN COUNTY SHERIFF
Meth found - A deputy went to a residence in Harrisburg on Sunday to arrest a man on an outstanding warrant. The man took off running but stopped and was taken into custody. Deputies found a bag with about 8 grams of meth on the ground nearby.
John Michael Rice, 45, of Harrisburg was charged with possession of meth and third-degree escape. He was taken to the Linn County Jail.
LEBANON POLICE
Stolen vehicle - A green 1998 Pontiac Montana Transport van, license plate ZKN 720, was reported stolen Saturday from a residence in the 1100 block of Hiatt Street.
Burglary - Reported from the 200 block of S. Main Street: a backdoor broken sometime Sunday night and a computer and phone system stolen. Loss valued at more than $1,200.
Charged with burglary - Wendy Gale Bostwick, 34, was arrested Monday in the 800 block of Park Street and charged with first-degree burglary and second-degree criminal mischief.
OREGON STATE POLICE
Road rage - Troopers responded to a driving complaint at 8:57 a.m. Monday and found two vehicles stopped on an Interstate 5 on-ramp near Highway 34. The initial report was that a 1999 GMC Suburban tried to run a log truck off the road. The call also indicated that there were two men involved and one had a baseball bat or similar object. The men were separated by the time troopers arrived and they gave conflicting statements about what had happened. A report was taken.
