The Linn County Sheriff's Office has arrested two 18-year-old men in Albany on allegations they were involved in making sex tapes with underage girls.
According to the sheriff's office, here's what happened:
The investigation started with a tip from a local teen who heard rumors of the videos' existence and called the sheriff's office.
Detectives contacted one of the men, who consented to a search of his laptop computer. Detectives found two videos, each about 40 minutes long. The videos showed the other man having sex with teenage girls, a different girl in each video.
The videos had been recorded without the girls' knowledge on a camera built into the computer. The girls were 16 and 17 years old at the time.
It is still unknown if anyone else viewed the videos.
The men were charged with using a child in display of sexually explicit conduct, encouraging child sexual abuse and invasion of personal privacy.
