Larry and Myrna Roth's field off Seven Mile Lane has been gathering some interesting decorations of late. Larry said the fun began last year when a nephew of his brought a couch and chair that mysteriously showed up in his field. Larry himself put up a Christmas tree with a present in the field in December, and the most recent decorations are a scarecrow and a toilet, which have shown up in the last few weeks. Larry and Myrna don't know where the scarecrow and toilet came from, but they've had a good laugh about it. They're planning to locate a manufactured home in the field this summer for their daughter Brenda, who works at Corban College in Salem.
