More than 7,600 people turned out to see 1970s pop group Pablo Cruise at the final River Rhythms concert of the year Thursday night at Monteith Riverpark. The group stepped off stage to mingle with the crowd and played into the evening hours. Parks and Recreation officials said that donations from the crowd totaled $3,321. Attendance for the year's five concerts reached more than 32,000, with about $13,000 collected in donations. Officials indicated that overall they were pleased with the attendance for the 2009 concerts. Country singer Chuck Wicks drew the season's largest crowd on July 23, when 9,700 showed up at the park.
