People arrested are innocent unless proved otherwise in court. Initial charges often change as a case progresses.
ALBANY POLICE
Stolen guitars - Police responded around 8:30 p.m. Saturday to a report of a possible burglary - someone crawling through a bedroom window - at an apartment in the 2200 block of Hill Street S.E.
While officers were investigating the possible break-in, they spotted a $3,000 Taylor guitar that had been stolen last Tuesday from a music store in downtown Albany.
The apartment resident, Christopher Scott Blair, 32, of Albany was arrested on charges of first-degree theft by receiving and possession of methamphetamine. He also had an outstanding warrant for contempt of court. Blair was lodged in the Linn County Jail.
A $500 Fender guitar was also stolen from the music store last week and remains missing.
Camera-wielding driver - A woman called police shortly before 7 p.m. Sunday and said she had been walking in the 2300 block of Liberty Street S.W. when a man drove up to her and asked her to get into his vehicle. The woman said no and the man began videotaping her.
Police caught up with the driver on Pirtle Drive outside Albany and spoke with him.
The police reports on the incident were not complete this morning, but police said they were still following up on the complaint.
LEBANON POLICE
Foot chase - Lebanon police chased a 41-year-old man down South Third Street Saturday afternoon before arresting him at the corner of West A Street.
The man had run form police when an officer pulled over the man's vehicle because it was listed as stolen.
The man was lodged in the Linn County Jail on charges of third-degree escape, resisting arrest, possession of meth and possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school.
Burglary - A home in the 200 block of S. Sixth Street was reportedly burglarized late Saturday night. Items missing include a laptop, computer monitor, sound mixing equipment, microphones and amplifiers. Loss valued at $1,700.
SWEET HOME POLICE
Missing man found - Milton Charles Kintzley Jr., who was reported missing last week, was found Friday in Florence by police there. Kintzley's family reported him missing after not having heard from him since April. Kintzley is living in Florence by choice, Sweet Home Detective Cyndi Pichardo said.
Felons in possession of firearms - A 31-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man were arrested in the 1700 block of 11th Avenue Sunday and charged with felon in possession of a firearm. They were both lodged in the Linn County Jail. The Department of Human Services took a child into custody at the scene.
