Lebanon police look for armed robber

LEBANON - Lebanon police are trying to identify and locate a man who robbed a deli Sunday evening.

Investigators are still gathering details. Here is what they said today:

Around 7:55 p.m. Sunday, a man entered the Peppers Deli, 2752 S. Santiam Highway, displayed a handgun and left with an undisclosed amount of money. At least one employee was in the restaurant at the time.

Police officers searched the area and used a dog to try to track the man but were unable to find him.

The man was described as being 5-foot-11 with a thin build. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark blue and black hoodie, and a baseball hat.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Detective Sgt. Kevin Martinez or Detective Dustin Wyatt at 258-4305.
