Sheriff's office says a wrong name was listed for one of the three people arrested

Three people were arrested Friday in connection with burglaries in Salem and in the Lyons area, according to Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller.

The sheriff's office reported Saturday that it listed a wrong name for one of the people arrested. Deputies arrested Jorge Gusman Delfin, 49, who lives at the Stayton address where a search warrant was served. He was charged with possession of stolen property and was lodged in the Marion County Jail. They did not arrest Juan Carlos Delfin, 29.

Marion County deputies assisted with the arrests.

Mueller described events this way:

As part of an ongoing investigation, Linn deputies served a search warrant about 6:45 a.m. Friday at 15018 S.E. Fern Ridge Road in Stayton, which is in Marion County.

Deputies seized a tractor with attachments and a utility trailer that were taken in the Lyons area burglary and a Yamaha moped stolen in Salem. Lyons is in Linn County.

Kimberly Annette Fox, 32, who lives at the same address, also was charged with possession of stolen property and taken to jail.

While the property was being searched, someone driving a pickup, also stolen in the Lyons burglary, arrived at the site but immediately left. After a short pursuit, the pickup became stuck and the driver fled but later was found by Marion County deputies.

Deputies arrested Eric Ray Harvey, 36, of Lyons who was charged with attempt to elude in a vehicle and on foot. He also was taken to the Marion County Jail.

Assisting with the search warrant were members of the Linn and Marion county SWAT teams and officers from the Lebanon and Sweet Home police departments.

The investigation is continuing.
