Search yields meth, marijuana, firearms
SWEET HOME - At approximately 7 a.m. Friday, Sweet Home police served a narcotics-related search warrant at 1840 Grape St. in Sweet Home.
Officers seized methamphetamine, marijuana - including 30 growing plants - scales, packaging materials, cash and drug records, as well as six firearms.
Here is a list of those arrested and their charges:
Laveva Lynn Tackett, 42: possession of methamphetamine, distribution of marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school and frequenting a place where drugs are sold.
William Joseph Tackett, 52: possession of meth and frequenting a place where drugs are sold.
David Joseph Tackett, 22: four counts of felon in possession of a firearm, manufacturing marijuana within 1000 feet of a school, distributing marijuana within 1000 feet of a school and frequenting a place where drugs are sold.
Tina Jo Winkler, 40: possession of meth, distribution of meth within 1000 feet of a school and frequenting a place where drugs are sold.
Additionally, Winkler was charged with two outstanding warrants for distributing meth from Multnomah County and possession of meth from Linn County.
Sweet Home police were assisted by the Albany Police Department, Linn County Sheriff's Office and a K-9 team from the U.S. Forest Service.
